Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) have a strategic role in national economic development. One of the products in Bantul district is processed food products from coconut water waste or what is often called nata de coco. One of them is the UKM Production Nata De Coco Mr. Sungadak-Edi Wahyuhana which is located in the hamlet of Galan and hamlet of Mulekan I, the village of Tirtosari Kretek Bantul, Yogyakarta.
This business, which has been engaged in since 2010, has encountered many obstacles, especially the lack of production equipment that hinders the production process, including trays for printing nata, shelves where trays are placed, drums to accommodate coconut water, and other production equipment. Lack of knowledge in making good and correct nata also affects the production results, often the nata produced is not good enough, so the selling value is low and this results in little partner income.
From the above problems, appropriate technology is needed to solve them, including the procurement of production equipment and good nata making training, so as to solve the above problems and can increase the number of production and partner income.
